More poems about Prayer

        WHAT DO WE PRAY FOR?
When we have told Father what we are grateful for,
Thanked Him for His goodness with great fervour,
Then comes the time for what we need for the day,
We should not ask that easy things to come our way.

We should pray for the strength to tackle every task,
Not for a simple and easy way out should we ask,
If we are in pain and much suffering comes our way,
Ask for His comfort and strength through the day.

He knows what pain you can bare, knows what you need,
Knows all the refining it takes, what it needs now to feed
You and strengthen you make you for to be with Him,
And through all the pain and suffering you will win.

Ask for the right thing and an answer you shall receive,
You will feel His loving arms around you, get reprieve
From the worries of the world, listen for yes or no,
And accept the answer as through this life you go.
