THE GALLEON
The galleon sailed heavy laden across the dark sea,
Sails illuminated by the full moon bright as could be,
Sailing homeward bound to somewhere that is home,
Then on some other journey this mighty ship may roam.
A galleon on a canvas that springs readily to life,
Hiding in its beauty all the great trouble and strife
That is part of a galleon that sailed on deadly seas.
A picture of great power prancing on a nightly breeze,
Gaze in awe and be the captain, deck hand or a mate,
Live on those canvas waves feeling the worry and fate
That came to those lovely galleons that braved the seas.
Live in the picture and pray for a sweet steady breeze..
