BLUEBERRIES
We may go blueberry picking, a fruit we enjoy,
An hour or so of our spare time we wisely employ,
Bushes I am sure there will be no real lack,
The only problem I see is each aching back.

Also blue fingers, after a few washes goes away,
Blueberry cheesecake made the very next day,
And if enough, homemade jam on warm fresh bread,
These thoughts send back pain right out of my head.

If the weather is kind, off blueberry picking we’ll go,
Even if sore backs and bright blue finders we show,
Make a rich cheesecake and the sweetest preserve,
After all that hard work it is the least the we deserve,
