CANADA DAY 2004
Awake O sleeping people, come, enjoy this holiday,
Do not be lazy, live your life in a special way,
Soak in the beauty of nature, meet with friends and family,
Go through this day rejoicing for our country that is free.

There are so many things to do everywhere on Canada Day,
You can join the crowds at a party, later watch a firework display,
Or find a quiet spot, maybe go fishing or on a long hike,
Pack a picnic lunch, find new places on your trusty bike.

Whatever you do have a good day and a grateful heart
For the freedom and the beauty and try to do our part
To keep Canada the best place to live in this world,
So keep the banner of liberty in this land ever unfurled.
