FAKE IT UNTIL YOU MAKE IT
I heard this saying today that I had heard before,
But this utterance seemed to open a closed door,
It was not just working on a task you could not do,
It meant a lot more to help you whole life through.

You may not like a person, but pretend that you care,
Be kind and loving let them know you will be there
When they need you, fake it for just a little while
And before long they are a friend to greet with a smile.

A task you do not like doing why not fake that it is fun,
Smile and laugh and sing until that horrid task is done,
You may not come to love doing it but it won’t be as bad
For you will be singing and not feeling miserable and sad.

If you feel work is a pain, a job not meant for you,
Fake having fun doing it each long day through,
I know it will make a difference in your very busy day
Fake it until you make it can work in many a way.
