RECIPES
Some people collect recipes books on a shelf,
To them it may be of prestigiousness or wealth,
There’s no way they could use them all in each book,
It would take them a week at each page to take a look.

Some maybe master chef’s, cuisine their expertise ,
Can whip up fancy food with the greatest of ease,
They don’t really need the recipe books much at all,
For most good chef’s seem to have instant recall.

I too have a few books and two full boxes, easy to find,
I don’t use them all of course and there’s some in my mind,
Lots on the computer for the whole world if they wish to see,
Most of those are the favourites of most of our large family.

But I have hundreds that I never use, or can I see the day
When I have time or money to make, some recipes will stay
In my card box and recipe books although they sound divine,
A good old fashion bread and butter pudding will do just fine.
