ENDOWED WITH GIFTS
As a child of God many things are endowed upon me,
Precious gifts and talents that will last for all eternity,
I need to seek, find and develop them, then understand
We are endowed from on high by God’s loving hand.

First find out each talent bestowed upon you with care,
In the parable of the talent’s the Lord was not unfair,
For it was the owner of the talent that hid it far away,
Afraid to loose it, worried what the master would say.

As we are placed on earth many gifts and talents are given,
We will be answerable for what we did back in heaven,
In fact we may not be able to enter through heaven’s door
If unused talent’s we hold, wondering what they were for.

One who has a good voice but will not sing in the choir
May one day be answerable when the Lord does require
What use did you made of your talent, when did you sing,
How much help and comfort to your fellow men did bring?

As we enter the temple we are richly endowed from on high,
Covenants made with God in love that we can never ever deny,
We should use the talents we have to help others along life’s way,
Will be we ashamed of unused gifts and talents on judgement day?

Strive every day to find, develop and wisely use each gift,
You never know who you touch or to whom you give a lift,
But a gift or talent not found and used will be your downfall,
So find each gift and talent and you will grow spiritually tall.
