        SINCERE PRAYER.
SONNET NO 92
When we pray, pray with a heart that’s sincere,
At the beginning and end of each day
With words of sweet gratitude, we should say
Thank you to Him for the gifts that are dear,
Gifts of the spirit, gifts that bring Him near,
Gratitude for nature that comes our way,
From the tiniest birds to trees that sway,
For love of family and fading of fear,
Then things we need to ask for are more clear,
Would we rather just sit around or play
Than kneel before God and so sweetly pray?
Then you’d miss the blessings that would appear.
As families pray together in love,
They gain the blessings that come from above.
