THE BUTCHERS AT DOMINION
         For the butchers
at Southdown and Royal Windsor
Like most housewives I wisely shop around,
Hunting for the best bargains to be found,
But for my meat the very best place by far
Is the Dominion, no others come to par.

The meat is always cut along the grain,
Saving the cook much anguish and pain,
You can usually find the size you need
For a large or small family to feed.

It is always neatly wrapped, looks just right,
There is no need over roasts to ever fight,
For the kindly butchers will cut one for you,
Just tell the cut and size and he’ll come through.

Nothing is too much trouble, friendly as can be
And some of the price cuts fill me with glee,
Even make a crown of pork with frills as well,
Yes, Dominion’s the place for meat I truly do tell.
