TOGETHER FOREVER
Families can be together forever, a truth close to my heart,
Satan wants us to fail in this and works hard to do his part
To break, destroy and manipulate with harsh immoral sin,
Hoping families to rend asunder and be in pain deep within.

If the wicked one can’t make immorality sin’s work for him,
There will be other things to hurt the family, some little whim
That will get out of hand, like working late just a time or two,
Until it becomes the fact that hours together become very few.

To pay the mortgage, buy a car, feed and clothe the family,
Tithes and offerings, buying gifts and trying to stay debt free
Can be a burden and things can begin to get out of hand,
Satan tells you only the best will do, they’ll not understand.

Then slowly hard work takes the place of that forever family,
Although you think you are doing it mainly to set you all free
From the worries of life, and in nice riches and comfort dwell,
But if this takes many long hours a precious thing you do sell.

Another way he creeps and twists many loving hearts and true,
Is placing in human souls finding fault for no ones right but you,
Little nit-picking things that can cruelly drive tender love right away,
Then you cannot understand when all is lost where you went astray.

Families can be forever, so that all earthly joys may increase,
By living as God would have us do and hurt forever cease,
Just love and harmony flow in earthly home and conquer sin,
Keep Satan out and the sweet love of the Master safely in.
