FEELINGS
It is hard to explain the feeling within the temple walls,
The feeding of the spirit, know the voice that calls
You child, the peace and tranquility given to those
Who to come to the temple and so wisely chose.
A healing hand to mend a tired breaking heart,
Blessings for those who willingly do their part,
An answer to a prayer that is quietly said,
Partaking of the spirit and come away well fed.
The feeling of tranquility to all freely given,
Almost like entering through the gates of heaven.
A feeling of unity with those below and above,
The most wonderful feeling of everlasting love.
A place of refuge from the storms of life
A harbour of comfort to free all from strife.
A feeling of contentment that fills your whole being,
A feeling of rejoicing that make the heart want to sing,
Then only in His house can all these blessing come,
Where else can this work be finally done
For those gone before us, where else can we learn
The way back to His glory and celestial joys earn?
Feel of His majesty and His power and love,
Feel the spirit flow down from heaven above.
Enjoy the feelings that in the temples flow
As along the path of life you willingly go.
Yes, it is hard to explain the feelings within the temple walls,
Where, if you listen to that sweet voice that calls,
All sorrow will depart and His love will forever dwell
In your heart and mind, and the truth will swell
Within you, giving you guidance every day,
Teaching you as you go the right way.
