More poems about Birds

WITH EAGLES FLY
Nesting with the mighty eagles just below the sky,
Wanting with grace and ease heavenward to fly,
Having a birds eye view for miles around to see
The beauty that at this moment is unseen by me.

High up on a craggy ledge by a graceful water fall,
Tree tops are our neighbours, so very stately and tall,
Standing as guardians of our hidden lofty home,
The waving branches beaconing us when we roam.

As I glance everywhere nothing but beauty is there,
Nature at its best in every season of the year,
A nature lovers paradise if with eagles we dwell,
And think of all the tales of loveliness we could tell.

Let me nest with the eagles by a rocky shore,
Near a pretty waterfall with its healing roar,
And maybe one day to soar on strong silent wings,
Then glance down at the beauty so your heart will sing.
