FALL COLOURS
Aboard the Agawa Canyon train in Fall
I want to look at the colours so a poem I cannot write,
For the scenery is beautiful, trees aglow so tall and bright,
A mixture of reds, greens, gold and yellow and shades in between,
With rivers, lakes, winding roads and cliffs to be seen.
I glance up from the page and wonder what I have missed
As along the winding train track we slowly weave and twist
Among the wild pristine beauty that everywhere around does show.
Ooh and wow I hear so I can stop writing for a little while
Then just gaze around in awe for many a magnificent mile,
The distant views are like a heaven made perfect quilt,
Unlike hand made ones that stay the same, but are angel built.
