MEDITATING
Sitting quietly meditating within the temple walls,
Studying the scriptures yet listening when He calls,
For it is a place of revelation, His will made known
To the soul who seeks, so eternal knowledge is shown.

The scriptures come alive, bring special meaning to me,
The path is shown with light so bright on to eternity,
The temple is a holy place where sweet solace is found,
Where love, peace and harmony constantly does abound.

Intellect is sharpened, hearts and minds open up wide,
For His truth and wisdom here He cannot ever hide,
In His house we know how to serve Him true and well,
Feel His presence so close, for here He can often dwell.

Even in the garden you feel you are on holy ground,
Where, not only beauty but sweet tranquility is found,
Yet sometimes these temples have only a few to enter in
To be fed and blest, for awhile safe from worldly sin.

Meditating in the temple, He seems always close to me,
A feeling I want to keep and gain to last for eternity,
Feel Him by my side, almost feel the touch of His hand,
In the quiet of the temple He is there to understand.
