Installation Instructions

Unzip BraveNew.zip into a temp directory. If you are unsure how to unzip a zip file, or if you don't have an unzip programme, try Winzip.

In your main Civ2 folder, create a new folder called something like 'Backup', and copy the following files into it:

advice.txt
rules.txt
game.txt
cities.txt
pedia.txt
labels.txt
units.gif
cities.gif
city.gif
icons.gif
Now simply copy and paste the contents of BraveNew.zip into your main Civ2 folder. Rename each of the files in bnw.zip by removing the m_ prefix. ie, m_pedia.txt should become pedia.txt, m_units.gif should become units.gif. The m_ prefix is there in case you accidentaly unzip bnw.zip straight into your main civ2 folder without making a backup.
To uninstall Brave New World, simply copy and paste the contents of the backup folder into your main Civ2 folder, selecting 'Yes to All' when asked if you wish to overwrite your existing files.
