Welcome to My Book by Nathanael Smith I never know how to write a letter to somebody. It always comes out either stilted or over-familiar, and in both cases it fails to be good literature, at least in my mind. Not that my literature is ever great. My doggerel is pretty well flea-infested. And, in the vein of all good puns, it's a catastrophe. Most of it should never have entered my mind, and the rest of it should have never left it. In no case should it have ever been recorded for posterity, and there's no reason for anybody to ever have to be subjected to the reading of it. That disclaimer aside, this is a book full of my most cherished thoughts, my dearest memories, and the really weird stuff that you find between your braincells after a double dose of liquid thought in a Dr Pepper can. In your hands you hold the key to the universe, or at least to MY universe, and a cryptic map to the person I always wanted to be. Welcome to my dreamworld.
