I held onto my Hope for years
Tried to drive away my fears
They held me by a thread
Now, it seems that even They are dead
Why don't I just end it all
And end it all?
Life is over for me
My Loneliness is my Company

I held the knife above my wrists
And gave the knots a final twist
The tub was overflowing
I shuddered then, for knowing
That desparation drove my life along
Grinding out my despairing song
A plea for Death and Mercy
For my Loneliness is my only Company
