Paul Redding

Director of Bands

 

Paul Redding was born and raised in Dickinson, North Dakota. He is the son of Roger and Linda Redding. He attended Dickinson State University where he studied vocal and instrumental music with emphasis in instrumental music. His major instrument is the saxophone. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Dickinson State University in 1996 where he earned a degree in K-12 vocal and instrumental music education.

He has taught for one year in East Grand Forks, MN, and is now in his seventh year at Larimore High School in Larimore, ND.  Paul was recently selected by School Band and Orchestra magazine as one of the “Fifty Teachers Who Make a Difference”.  This recognition is given yearly to one teacher from each state who is making a difference in their program and community through music education. 

 

Mr. Redding also received the 2002 Allegro Award North Dakota Music Educators Association.  The Allegro is an award for outstanding young band director in North Dakota in their 5th to 10th year of teaching.
