Snow Cream...a tradition

1 cup rich milk or heavy cream
1 egg, beaten well
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 qt. freshly fallen, clean (of course..hehe) snow

In a large bowl, combine all ingredients, except snow, thoroughly.
Then add snow. Mix quickly. Eat at once! You may have to add additional snow, depending on the type you have on hand.

Betty and I work together, in fact, she sits directly in front of me. (how I got this photo--"hey, Betty!") Ever since I told Betty about Snow Cream, everytime it snows she is the first to mention making it and has made it in the most varied ways---chocolate, cherry, strawberry, I can't even recall some of the concoctions she has come up with but anyway because of her love of snow cream I crown her the "Snow Cream Queen"...Smile Betty!!!...hope your laughing...
