Your First time!

ok you have paid the money and now pondering how to go along with it. well some tips:

1. Sign up for the correct category (ask saca if in doubt)
   There are quite a few, junior (under-18), junior veterans, senior veterans, sports(intermediate), open (aka cream of the crop) look up at saca's website
   
   
2. Prepare for your event
   Try to pre-ride the race course, dress in cool, fitting, light coloured clothing to keep you cool and suitablely dressed. Make sure you got all your gear the night before the race, dont rush, it adds stress! Be at the venue on time, tweak your bike at your local bike shop to ensure every ounce of juice can be squeesed out of your steed. check the brakes, wheels, transmission, suspension set up etc. Lastly be sure and be confident and do your best!
