Carachama Verde - From our Own Amazon Exploration!
Like most Plecos, this rarity feeds on green algaes, but not exclusively, especially as it grows to its huge dimensions.
They have a very varied diet, and special pleco pellets found at your local aquarium are well suited. Other dry foods,
and even blackworms work as well. Try to give them a varied diet with greens and protein.
Plenty of room, regular partial water changes, a Ph at around 7.0, and places to hide will keep your Pleco happy.
