My Poems:

Original: A poem by Rumi

By day I praised you
and never knew it.
By night I stayed with you
and never knew it.
I always thought that
I was me – but no,
I was you
and never knew it.

Substituted:

In the morning I saw you
and never forgot your face.
In the evening I passed by you
and never forgot your smell
I always thought that
I was crazy – but no,
I was in love
and never could forget you.

Original: A poem by Rumi

Tonight
is the night
It’s the creation of that land of eternity
It’s not an ordinary night,
it’s a wedding of those who seek God.
Tonight, the bride and the groom
speak in one language.
Tonight, the bridal chamber
is looking particularly well.

Substituted:

Today
is the day
It’s the creation of that poem in my heart
It’s not an ordinary day,
it’s a flow of the feelings of a poet.
Today, the heart and the pen
speak the same language.
Today, my pen
is writing particularly well.
