The lure of cold steel shining though the dreary night fingers of death reaching out so cold pressing against you. As you lie down the ties press into your hips the little rocks tiny pricks your last discomfort lying there in the rain waiting. Your mind runs over your life, all you loved and lost. Nothing matters now, none of it matters in the end. You're soaked through shivering now, waiting, thinking about it. It's not worth going on. The tracks begin to hum, vibrate, faster, louder making your arm itch. Even though you want it you begin to fear death, second thoughts, you could try again, but why? this is it, life is worthless. Maybe you should get up while you still can, walk away it's close now, you wanted this, but oh god not now, you want life, you want it's pain please I want a second chance shit it's close now, you'll do anything to live. please god make it stop you can't move paralyzed by fear, someone help. Lights creep up the track falling on your shaking form. The brakes screech when they see your body, coming closer, screeching like a death cry until your voice joins with it. God, I don't want to die. You want to run away from the sound of grinding steel and the oain of your body thudding against the vibrations of the track. Please make it stop in time, it goes on for an eternity coming closer a burst of pain. God, it's over now. The Pain, The Fear, The Life, for you it's over. What about those you left behind? What are we supposed to do?
