Hawk Haven Weather Report

Here's what the weather is like at (or near) the places I hold dear...

But first, a bit of explanation, eh? Some of you have asked why I included certain cities on this list, so I've added a few words of explanation to each one. Also, some of you (who shall remain nameless unless you read the Guestbook) have noticed a few key gaps in my geographical knowledge as relates to my family. Well, the rease for some of the discrepancies is that Yahoo!Weather (who provide the weather service for Geocities sites like mine) doesn't include thriving metropolises like Hastings, MI, on it's list of cities. In those cases I've shot for the nearest city that is on that list.

I've also added daily satellite photo and precipitation map images at the bottom of the page.

Madison, Wisconsin

This is where my loving wife and I hang our hats at the end of a weary day.

Kalamazoo, Michigan

This is almost the mother-land. Almost. The map dot where I was born (and where my mom, dad, and eldest sister are) isn't included on Yahoo!Weather's list of cities, but K-zoo is within spitting distance.

Paducah, Kentucky

This is where my brother and his family are (until they get shipped off somewhere else, that is...)

Detroit, Michigan

This is not quite where my youngest (but still older than me) sister lives with her family, but it's as close as Yahoo!Weather could get me to where they are.

Missoula, Montana

This is where my brother-in-law is currently attending grad school. Well, theoretically he's attending grad school. As far as I can tell, he's spending the majority of his time hunting, hiking, and visiting micro-breweries.
