UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN


The sequel to COREEN. The black-haired girl is not happy living in the Glen. She tries to understand what causes her restlessness and unhappiness to Calla and Grammi and Gruffi and Gusto but nobody seems to get it, least of all her. She can't explain! She leaves a note saying that she must find whatever it is she is missing and is gone, leaving the bears a little distraught. They get determined to find her. Amid preparations, Sunni is sent to get mushrooms or something for Grammi and almost gets caught by an uppity little boy, Sunder, who believes in gummies. She eludes him but later, I forget how, Sunder gets to tag along on the search for Coreen. They end up at a human-type house on a hill and find a little gummi living there that looks spookily like Coreen. Her name is Corri. Odd lil' kid, too. Different personality but spookily echoes some things Coreen said at other times in COREEN. I wanted to allude to the fact that they were the same, yet different, individuals. Don't know what kinda magic was in the works but I guess it was a sorta Jeckel and Hyde thing, except both good sides. She spends a day at the Glen and then back to her house. End. Sequel is SURPRISE SURPRISED.
