TIAN, DUCKI, AND LUNA


This is another story about the gummies long before the show. This one is at least 1000 years before Cubbi and Sunni. Ducki and Luna are twins. They were inseparable. However, they were two different genders and were given different responsibilities in Gummi Glen. Just barely noticeable at first. Once day, bored and not good at playing with the other cubs except his sis, Ducki nagged the healer Celli when his sis would get better so they could play. "Soon", he was told. He didn't wanna wait, especially since he heard two voices in her room, and so he barged right in. Luna brushed it off but he persisted. The third voice spoke up and Luna's secret friend became a shared friend. An Imperial Griffin cub named Tian had happened upon Luna one day and each was too fascinated by the other to be afraid. Tian, an only hatchling, and Luna, sometimes alone because Ducki was off with Burli, would talk or play until one or the other was called home. The griffin was fascinating to Ducki, too, but as the cubs grew older, he became severely jealous of the time Tian spent with Luna-- because they often went off together, without him. Luna was continually in trouble, always running off to who-knew-where. Greif, Tian's mother, found out about her daughter's association with gummies-- after Greif ecstatically proclaimed that she'd found the other Imperial griffins (They'd been separated from their.. flock? tribe?.. and Greif desperately wanted to find them again. Durn humans.. mutter mutter) Bad, though, as she told Tian to say goodbye to her.. friend. Too many humans in the area and they had to leave. Tomorrow. Tian was forced to go, but she snuck Luna in and really raised everyone's hackles! Tian and Greif, it seems, do not think like the rest of the haughty Imperial Griffins. Er.. This story isn't done either but Ducki does make up to Tian and Luna. He never really meant anything he said, etc. etc. I don't know if Luna ever sees Tian again. Probably:) Why would Tian ever wanna remain with those other griffins when she's got a great friend of a gummi? :)
