Surprise Surprised


King Gregore has invited the Gummies to the castle for a celebratory banquet in honor of the three no longer being stone and having his daughter back safe and sound (the gummies told him about themselves and where Calla really was as Igthorn, lovable slime that he is, told Gregore he had her and to give him his castle in exchange.. Typical:) ) There and amid great food, Chummi arrives all leathered out to give a message to the bears that the two great gummies have arrived. Their reason for goin' all over the globe with Chummi is a gummi population census. They wanna know how many and who and where they be, ya know. Great talk and food and back to the Glen for the gummies all excited about meeting these two new bears. Who are no where to be found. Nope. Not Igthorn. The two were removed from Chummi's air ship with no brute force, it seems... The bears go on a search for 'em. They find a trail of gummi-made tools on the ground and collect as they go. Until they find that Sunder has collected the rest from the opposite end and is surrounded by a mob wanting to know what the deal is with the shiny things. He finally gets away from them and flees home. This is where the story needs the most revision. Originally I had the two gummies kidnapped by these flying, non-speaking, four-legged, bird-like critters I called Aldans but I hate the name and they were invisible most of the time. Feh. The two gummies, Janni and Cunni (as in 'cunning'), were taken because Janni is a healer and the Aldans were sick. Before I revealed this in the end, and before Janni healed all and THAT ended the story, I had Sunni and Janni enlist Sunder's help, convincing him that gummies would be indebted to him if he'd give her back her medical instruments. The boy is very excited to see gummies and won't tell a soul: "Who'd believe me!". Eh. I guess it ends with the 'Aldans' flying off and a great sunrise! As a side note in this one, Zummi, Gusto, Gruffi, and Cubbi learn a bit about doing the dishes and such as Chummi takes 'em up in his airship for an aerial search and no Grammi to do it. Chummi's kinda surprised they never do the dishes:) On another note, I never really liked Cunni's name and if I ever re-write this thing, I'll probably change it.
