Lurking In The Darkness!!!

The sun has gone forever
And it won't be coming back.
The light is slowly fading
And the sky is turning black.

The thunder crashes over head
The lightening flashes bright.
It fades away and disappears
There is no other light.

There are no stars above you
And there is no ground below,
The black is getting blacker
The Abyss, Starting to grow.

The Chasm opens wider
You are falling through the dark.
The midnight black engulfs you
But you see a tiny spark.

You slowly drift towards it
Your hand reaches for its' flame.
It throws a flare and then is gone
It plays an evil game.

You don't know where you're going
And you don't know where you'll land
You don't know if there'll be someone
To lend a helping hand.

Will you be able to escape it?
Will it ever let you go?
As the evil lurks inside you,
You're the only one who'll ever know.
