Course Description:
During the next three weeks, this course will help you develop computer skills and learn about marine biology. First, we will look at the basic computer skills needed to use word processing program and learn how to get information from the internet. We will utilize that skill to find out about endangered species. Finally, we will create a home page about marine animals.

1st Week - July 19th to July 23rd
Basic Computer and Internet Skills - computer vocabulary, opening, closing, and saving your work, typing and editing, going online, internet addresses, introduction to email
Introduction to Marine Life - Go to web sites about marine animals
2nd Week - July 26th to July 30th
Creating a Web Page - typing your self-introduction, creating your own page using a background and style of your choice
Research on Marine Animals - Research on marine animals using internet and gather information for your web page
3rd Week - August 2nd to August 5th
Finishing the Web Page - Put the research results on the web page, link the other sites to the web page
