Hello! Welcome to our website.  My name is Mary Soltis.

The students have been working on this project for three weeks with the wonderful help of Maiko.  I have been teaching the culture component of the class.  I have been teaching for ten years, and I have been teaching ESL for four years.  I teach freshman ESL students at the University of California, Berkeley.  I love to surf, swim, run, and read books.   I hope you enjoy this website.
