MICHAEL
"Michael" I said "The greatest irony to me is the fact that most spiritual laws actually seek to make us attain the level of phenomenon and actualisation of the wildebeest. Let us take the injunction: "vengeance is mine". The bible would have us leave revenge to God. Any hunted animal in the woods will tell you this - free of charge - ambush a herd of antelope. You aim with your shotgun, Bam! Bam! Best case scenario: none is killed. The herd runs off. The happy survivors do not congregate and plot the overthrow and demise of the murderous hunter. Do they? They simply count their blessings and seek an alternative path to the stream. It will be interesting to postulate on why antelopes do not stalk and kill hunters."
"Well" Michael said, "They do. They are called tigers!"
"Why do men have to be taught to be like lower beings
Some may argue that revenge is a higher attribute and that true spirituality is withholding our instinct. To which I say only the baser instincts should be withheld."
Michael said, "The beauty of the way of Christ is the mastery of our world. There is passion everywhere it is our challenge to glide through these passions and subject them to our nature"
He paused a while.
I asked, "Who are you quoting or paraphrasing"
He continued "Our Christ conformed nature that is"
