Nov 1999 - The Dominy Family Web Site is launched, initially mainly to
keep friends and family up to date (and in the picture!) with the impending
trip to Thailand.

Tue 7th Dec 1999 - Mon 10th Apr 2000 - Phil, Rebecca, Aidan, & Anastasia
all living in Bangkok, at Oakwood City
Residence.
Phil - working at the Thai Meteorological Department, Bangkok. To train
the Thai forecasters and to configure their new meteorological software
system; to modernise their working practice and to maximise the benefits
from the new system. (See Phil at work .)
Rebecca - to enjoy the heat, sunshine, swimming, shopping, and eating!
Aidan & Anastasia - to learn to swim and to use the potty (respectively!),
and to relish experiencing such a different culture!
2000

Sat 8th Jan - 15th Jan - Phil in Los Angeles to give a presentation at
a Meteorological Conference. Take a look at some US
snaps from my time off!

Mon 10th Jan - A&A start at KiddiCare International Kindergarten. They
love it and so does Rebecca because she gets 8:30-14:00 to herself!

Wed 2nd Feb - Aidan's 5th Birthday. (See Thai
Snaps for pictures!)

25th-28th Feb - to Chiang Mai, in north of Thailand.

March 3rd-7th - long weekend in Singapore, staying with friends.

March 20th-25th - a few days at the beach (Hua Hin).

Tue 25th Apr - Aidan starts school at Winnersh Primary!

Wed 26th Apr - Rebecca starts work for Progressive Personnel Solutions
(for 3 mornings a week)
Sat 3rd-10th Jun - Phil to Manila, Philippines, to set up a trial system.

Sun 9th Jul - Phil helps organise Winnersh village's first 'Big
Event' in 25 years. Sadly the pouring rain reduces numbers!

Fri 21st Jul - 10 year Anniversary, Rebecca
fits easily into her wedding dress!

Sat 29th Jul - Fri 4th Aug - P,R,A,&A camping at New Wine Christian
Conference, Somerset. (Went with a group of friends from St Sebastians
Church, Crowthorne.)

Sat 5th -12th Aug - P,R,A,&A at the seaside (Bournemouth) staying with
Great Grandpa Jack

Aug 12th - Oct 1st - Nom (Thai Au Pair) staying
with us.

Sep 4th - Stasia starts at Play Group

Sep 23rd - Dec 9th - Phil & Rebecca help
run an Alpha Course (Introduction to Christianity pioneered by Holy
Trinity Church, London), together with 3
other local churches.

18th Nov - 16th Dec - Phil to Australia to install
new weather system and train forecasters. One
week in Sydney, 3 weeks in Melbourne
and trips to the Blue Mountains and Great
Ocean Road!
