VITALY'S DREAM LIBRARY
It is Vitaly's dream to have a small library of his own one day.
The following list is compiled from letters sent to Amy Thompson.
His library would include the books he loves and mentions in his
letters.It is in his own words. He is very bright and interested in everything.


1. A good English grammar and/or dictionary because I am trying to improve my Enlgish. 
A Thesaurus would be a big help to me as well.

2. Anything you can find from classic literature.My 
preferences that I have known by reading some translations 
are "Robinson Crusoe"by Defoe, novels or collections of short stories by Dickens,
 Edgar Allan Poe, Thackarey and others.
I also love poetry by Shelley, Blake ,Tennyson, Wordsworth,
and others.
Sometimes I like humorous novels by Mark Twain, O'Henry, and Jonathan Swift.
 I know very little about modern literature 
but if you have something good, please send it.
My preferences in literature are good humour, psychology,
life of people in the past, history, fantasies and 
dramatic novels.
I love also good detective novels. One of my favorites is
is Agatha Christie. I have heard also of Daphne de Maurier.

3. Most important, please send me also college level books 
on chemistry/physics/biology/mathematic/medicine that
you don't need any more. It is my goal to become a physician 
and I would like to prepare for it. I enjoy magazines, too.
I aways dreamed of having but good entertainig (this may not
 be the right word)library.For example, I like books by 
Martin Gardener (the famous mathematics and physics populizator).


Please excuse me if this list is very big!
I have much interst in computers and would love to read any books you
 no longer need about computer science.
 I would be 
grateful for anything that you can send me. I believe it
would be safe to mail directly to me books that are not
very expensive. But books of value should be sent to Amy's
friend, Mrs. Sheila Matthews. Her address follows.
