Al Hartman

In The Landmark
Education Corporation course Self Expression and Leadership program, we are asked before
speaking to speak who we are. In the rigorous method of that course..
Who I am is the possibility of Love, Transformation and Relationship
with God.
What this means is that I am a person who wants to create Love, Transformation, and to connect
those around me to their relationship with God.
Transformation means that I don't want people to change. I love people for who they are. I want
people to experience that they can make choices for and do things that they never gave themselves permission for
before.
I believe people are capable of wonderful things, and in the last 5 - 6 years, I have put myself
in situations and with people where I get to experience this greatness firsthand. This project is another such
place. In this project I am among people who are doing things they never thought they could, and bringing from
within themselves a measure of love and generosity that is not normally present in their lives.
One goal of this project is for the participants and the people who get served, get to experience
who they are in a whole new way. I know I am in my participation in this.
I am a Computer Professional living in the Philadelphia, PA area.

I have been attending Landmark Education courses since January 1999.
Since May of 1993, I have been doing spiriutual work with a group of people who are now a church
called World Harmonics Unified Ministers. I am a provisional member of the board of directors for that organization,
and a Harmonic Master. Here is where you can go their homepage and find out more about it.
I've written about many things I've done with my Harmonic Connection, here is where you can read about that.
I currently live in the Bensalem area of Philadelphia, PA. I moved to the area 3 years ago. I
have lived in Brooklyn, New York and Staten Island, New York previous to that.
I have been a Commercial Artist, a Hot Dog Vendor, a Good Humor Man, a Radio Shack salesman,
and many other things.
What I got from the Landmark Forum..
I attended the Landmark Forum in January 1999. In my Forum, I learned that people weren't very
much different than myself. They were as afraid of what I thought of them, as I was of what they thought of me.
When I attended the Advanced Forum, I saw how great it was to be a member of a community and
I experienced my presence making a difference in that community.
Now that I am in the SELP (Self Expression and Leadership Program), I am experiencing that I
can decide to be a leader in any community I choose, and from that leadership position make a difference in that
community. What I mean by that, is that my actions or speaking can cause good things to happen around me. This
has always been a desire of mine.
In doing this work with Landmark, I've seen that I have been doing this, and can do it at will.
