WHAT IF...

What if:

I sent you an e-mail and it came back incorrect address...
I tried to phone you and a recording said "number not in service"...
I went to your website and geocities said "can't find that file"...
A letter I had mailed to you came back stamped "no such address"....
I called up your poems on my computer and got "no such directory"
I went to my website and the "My girlfriend" page wasn't there...
I logged into the chats and your nic was not on my notify list...
I brought up my irc logs, but your file wasn't there....

Confused, I looked at your pics on my wall.... but it was blank,
Then i got out my roadmap.... and your town was not there...

And in that moment i would realize... it was all a dream, you never existed... and my heart would stop, the pain and sadness being unbearable, i would want to die...

but wait..?!?!?!?!

was it a dream, or is this the dream... a nightmare, the worst of all....

God,... please, please, please let me be asleep, and i would pray that I will wake up, and everything will be as it was.
