THE MEANING OF LIFE

This little story explains the meaning of life quite clearly. I call it:

The Story of The Wasp and The Grub

I was standing in my back yard in another life, looking at the ripe seed heads of some cat-tails. As I was standing there a small wasp-like insect flew up and landed on one of the heads. It immediately began digging at the cat-tail head, pulling out little balls of fluff. It fascinated me because it certainly seemed to know exactly what it was doing. I thought that perhaps it was going to lay eggs in it, or perhaps it was going to take the "fluff" and fly off with it. It dug and dug for a couple of minutes. All of a sudden this little tiny grub comes crawling out of the seed head. I guess it was living in there. The wasp keeps digging. All of a sudden it realizes the grub is there, so it grabs it, flies off to a nearby branch and eats it.
