These are kids poems.  At least, that's what I keep telling myself.  One day in 1997, I got  the urge  to write "Tiger Lily" for my nephews.  It was fun, so I kept doing it.  I sometimes feel obligated to include morals in the things I write for kids.  But my favorite poems are the ones without morals -- like "Triplicate."  But of course my most-favoritist is "Old Saw."  That's because I'm a geek.
