DOD Overdrive pedal



I got this just recently. It's been a good pedal. Overdrive is my favorite type of distortion. It just adds to your sound and doesn't cover it up with the effect. I've found that you can't push the gain too much. You've got to cut it off right before the boost, or all you get is squealing. You can, but you sacrifice on volume and tone. I cut the tone lower and go for more gain. I use my Zoom and EQ on my amp to adjust the tone. I've got the level set at 6, the tone at 4 and the gain at 10. I like to just crank the distortion. It doesn't get real overpowering, with it being OD.
