Legitimate questions

I think that the origin of religion is from people asking questions.  Theories were developed to answer these questions.  Mostly, the tru answer is unknowable.  But people feel they have the answer.  Somewhere in here, I believe, God is gently pushing the asnwers at us.  So, let's look at the legitimate questions that religion springs from

1. Why am I here?.
2. What is the purpose of the universe?.
3. What happens when we die?.
4. Is there a God?
5. What is God like?
6. What does God want us to do?
7. What should I do?
8. Why does evil exist?
9. Is there any way to know for sure?
10. Is love something more than a mating urge?
11. Is there some sort of justice in the universe?
12. Why are some babies born deformed?
13. Is it okay to do things just because I want to do them?
14. Do animals have souls?.
15.  Will I ever get to see all the people I have lost again?
16. Do I have a soul?
