Adam's Lament

Eve.
My joy, my love, my treasure! I do implore thee  be ye restored unto me
We have been living in death by our sin, thine and mine own
We two have strayed from
God's righteous path and art cleft in twain
Only a dim reflection of our union remains
Yet thou needest not live
This death for I have been restored Unto Him that made me
Sleep, now, thou in the True Death that gives True Life and wake forevermore
Unto thy Gracious Heavenly Father, thy Precious Brother and thy loving husband.
Adam.
