Unfortunately, this much anticipated sermon was missed due to the annual "Sports Day" that occurs throughout Japan at roughly this time. We prayed, but alas, it was a nice sunny day, and due to parental responsibility, not only to one's children, but also it appears to school and community, the morning service had to be foregone by some members of the church and my family. Our faithful translator got a day off. Well, I can't begrudge her the rest! Happy Undokai! [Kinda' reminds ya of Hallowe'en, doesn't it?]
