STORY TIMES AT OPL

Preschool Story Time
A special themed and age appropriate weekly program which introduces three to five year old children to literature through books, flannel board stories, songs and fingerplays.

TUESDAYS AT 10:30 AM
in English at the Downtown Main Library

THURSDAYS at 11:00 AM
bilingual in English & Spanish at the Colonia Library
Family Story Time
Come one, come all! These weekly themed programs share a variety of books and activities that appeal to children of all ages.

TUESDAYS AT 7:00 PM & SATURDAYS AT 12 NOON
in English at the Downtown Main Library

WEDNESDAYS at 7:00 PM
in Spanish at the Downtown Main Library

Class Visits

Tours of the Oxnard Public Library Children's Area are conducted by librarians in English and Spanish. Presentations are tailored to the individual needs of each group. In addition to a tour of the area, storytelling, the instruction of students in using the online catalog, and/or in-depth discussions of references and resources available for specific research projects may be offered. Please call (805)385-7535 to schedule class visit appointments at least two weeks in advance.
