Library Cards
|
To get a library card you must show two pieces
of identification, such as a driver's license, California ID, or school
ID, plus proof of California resident address, such as a utility
bill or rent receipt. The first card is free; replacement cards are $1.00.
A parent or guardian must sign for a patron under 18 years of age. Children
age 5-12 are not required to prove resident address but must have parent
or guardian signature. For additional information call the Oxnard Public Library
at 385-7507, South Oxnard Center at 385-8129 or Colonia Center at 385-8108.
After 60 days, contingent upon having paid all fines and
returned all items, your classification will be changed from that of a
New Patron to either an Adult, Senior, Juvenile, or Juvenile Restricted
Patron. At this time, you may renew material(s) by telephone and reserve
up to 10 items. Lending privileges associated with each classification
are at Checkout Policies.
