These bolts are being used on a limited experimental basis in the Kingdom of Caid. They are fired out of a standard heavy golftube capable crossbow (1000 inch pounds maximum). They present a lower profile head and more streamlined shape than tennisball tipped golftube bolts, while retaining the ability to be field-gleaned and refired. Their heads use the same UHMW rod diameter and padding method as Caid's fiberglass ABD crossbow bolts.

Closeup of the ends with foam fletching. Fletching is necessary on streamlined golftube bolts to prevent erratic flight.
