ARTICLE I NAME AND OBJECTIVE

Section 1 - Name

The name of this organization shall be the Cairo Association of Teachers (CAT), an affiliate of the Illinois Education Association (IEA) and the National Education Association (NEA).

Section 2 - Objective

The objective of the Association shall be to promote the welfare of its members and to advance public education in Illinois and the United States.
