In a world where "butterfly ballots" rule, this idea won't fly.

Illinoisans Say No to Constitutional Convention

WSIL-TV- Illinois said NO Tuesday to holding a Constitutional Convention.

Two thirds of people voted against the idea. Supporters of the referendum met Wednesday afternoon to discuss their options. One is a possible lawsuit regarding what they say was unfair wording of the question. Lieutenant Governor Pat Quinn says county clerks refused to pass out fliers to clarify the confusing ballot language. Opponents of a convention say it would be expensive and lead to needless changes.
