CAT Tracks for September 27, 2007
SALT SEX SLAVES

For you Southern Illinois history buffs...

Stace England has followed up his "Greetings from Cairo, Illinois" with a new CD that focuses on the Crenshaw House, locally know as the Old Slave House, near Equality, IL. (One track plays off the name of the town..."Inequality in Equality". There are a total of 13 tracks on the CD.)

The CD's national release date is in November, but you can purchase the CD NOW on the Stace England website.

Below are a couple of articles concerning the release of the new CD. Unfortunately, I did not pick up a copy of NIGHTLIFE until the day after the local "release party" that was held at Hanger 9 in Carbondale on September 21st. However, the New Harmonies article indicates that Stace England and the Salt Kings will give a performance on Friday, November 9 at the Carbondale University Mall.

Mark your calendars!
