Fire Destroys House in Cairo

CAIRO, Ill. - Fire crews put out a fire in a vacant home in Cairo Thursday afternoon.
The fire broke out late Thursday afternoon at a house on the 300 block of 24th Street.
This is the latest after a string of fires last month in Cairo.
Those fires are being investigated as suspicious. No word on whether this latest fire is also suspicious.
The house is a total loss.
