CAT Tracks for May 29, 2008
SLOW NEWS D...WEEK!

Folks, I HAVE been checking my regular news sources daily...there just have NOT been any educational (or weird) stories that have captured my imagination...to pass along to the loyal readers of CAT Tracks.

Okay, some copper thieves destroyed the air-conditioning system in Trigg County and jeopardized graduation, but...

There are a couple of items (that should be) of CAT interest today:

  • Yesterday afternoon, the Board of Education hand-delivered their negotiations "list"...topics for discussion. There will be a meeting this evening to discuss "ground rules". Stay tuned...

  • Tomorrow, as promised, is the election for CAT Officers, which will be conducted at the various attendance centers. Candidates on the ballot are:

For President - De De O'Shea
For Vice President - Ron Newell
    For Secretary - Angela Coleman
    For Treasurer - Regina Brown

There WILL be a space provided for write-in candidates, so it's NOT too late to launch your candidacy!

Well, that's it...see ya at the end-of-school luncheon on Monday!
