Wellness on Wheels to host Super Bowl party in Cairo

CAIRO -- Wellness on Wheels (WOW) will host a “Prevention is Power” Super Bowl viewing party from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Cairo High School. The event is free and open to the public.
National Recording Artist, Hustle, a.k.a. “Hustle Simmins” with the A-legal Hustler Movement, will be in concert prior to kickoff. Simmins, 26, of Atlanta, is a Grammy-nominated songwriter, motivational speaker and health educator.
He will also perform at 9 a.m. Monday, Feb. 4, at Meridian High School in Mounds.
After the concert the Super Bowl will be shown on a big screen television in the cafeteria with food, non-alcoholic beverages and giveaways. Free tickets for the party will be available by visiting the WOW van, a free mobile health program, which will be parked at the school that day.
WOW offers free health screenings and is an initiative of the Illinois Department of Public Health, Center for Minority Health Services, Mississippi River District of the United Methodist Church and Chambers and Associates, LLC.
